Light emitting diode (LED) lights use much less energy than both incandescent and compact fluorescent light bulbs (one string of lights uses only a couple of watts). LED holiday lights are available in two varieties; we have a shorter string, 16.5 feet with 25 lights (8 inches between each light) and a longer string, 25 feet with 70 lights (about 4 inches between each light).
These lights will burn brightly for more than 50,000 hours, are cool to the touch, and will cost only a few pennies per day to operate.
